PRODUCT DESIGNER
Job summary
At Tocco Toscano, we create bags that move with women—chic, functional, and built to last. We’re looking for a Bag Designer who can create elegant, functional, and trend-forward accessories for the modern woman.
From concept to creation, you’ll bring fresh ideas, innovative materials, and thoughtful details to life—ensuring every piece is as beautiful as it is practical.
A Tocco Toscano Product Designer is also a good communicator who enjoys connecting with people of all ages.
This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and design high-quality products that align with the brand’s ethos
- Develop detailed sketches and technical drawings for production
- Work closely with sample makers and manufacturers to create design prototypes
- Manage product development including tracking of prototype making, ensuring material availability and meeting of design specifications
- Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality and craftsmanship
- Work closely with marketing and merchandising teams to align collections with product storytelling and customers’ needs
- Stay informed on global trends, materials, and technology advancements in the fashion industry
- Acquire a strong working knowledge of the brand’s philosophy, products and processes
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned
Requirements
- Work experience in product development, specifically bags and accessories
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Experience with design programs such as Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge in bag construction, hardware selection, and manufacturing processes
- A keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, written and spoken
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptability
- Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage own tasks and workload effectively
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- Ability to handle criticisms constructively
- Ability to work well independently while being a positive team player

Our office is located at Tampines, opposite Ikea.
5-day workweek, 9am to 6pm.
